Kabarak University TVET Institute staff today wrapped up a 9-day intensive Competency-Based Education training (CBET) conducted by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC).
The staff were taken through overview of reforms in Education and Training, the procedure for the development of CBET Curricula, and tools of assessment, verification, and implementation.
Speaking during the training, the Principal, KABU TVET noted that the move to capacity-build the staff could not come at a better time when the TVET Institute was enrolling students for various Diplomas and Certificates under the CBET curriculum.Â
It is therefore expected that this will enhance TVET learners’ competitiveness and ultimately their chances of employment.
Below are photos of the training.
