Prof. Henry Kiptiony Kiplangat

Professor Henry Kiptiony Kiplangat  is currently the Chairperson of the  Kabarak University TVET institute and the Vice-Chancellor of Kabarak University. He holds a PhD in Educational Administration and Planning from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, an M.A. in Education from the University of Lancaster and a B.Ed. (Arts) from Kenyatta University.

He is also an alumnus of Galilee International Management Institute, Israel. Prof. Kiplangat is described as a natural leader, strategic planner, articulate and persuasive communicator;  a top  performer whose track record speaks for itself.

His vision for excellence is exemplary and contagious.  Everywhere he has served, there is an inspiring success story to tell.  His leadership and management style is also impeccable. He has numerous achievements that have enabled his rise through the ranks and earn awards of recognition.

Worth noting are two national awards conferred by The President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kenya to recognize his distinguished service to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities. The award of Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (M.B.S.) and Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (O.G.W.), respectively.

He is also a member of the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN), the Kenya Quality Assurance Network (KQUAN), European Centre for Research Training and Development (U.K.), Educational Management Society of Kenya (EMSK) and the Institute of Directors (I.O.D.), Kenya

Prof. Henry Kiplangat, away from work, is a dedicated family man and a devoted Christian.
